One out of every five grownups, or about 50 million Americans, have been diagnosed with some type of arthritis. If you begin seeing any of the common caution signs associated with arthritis, you need to speak to your physician so you can begin a treatment routine.
Indication 1: Problem Climbing Stairs
If you ever experienced discomfort while going up or down stairs, especially in the knee joints, this should be a caution sign that you may have arthritis. Being overweight may also add to joint pain, or worsen minor pain triggered by the onset of arthritis.
Warning Indication 2: Difficulty Starting in the Morning
A great deal of people have difficulty getting out of bed in the morning, however arthritis victims have a particularly difficult time with it. If it takes you a half hour or longer to shake away the pains and discomfort after you get up, this must be an indication that you may have arthritis.
Warning Indication 3: Discomfort Avoiding Sleep
People with arthritis typically experience discomfort even when they are stagnating. This can be especially challenging if you have discomfort while you are trying to drop off to sleep. If you experience joint pain that is preventing you from dropping off to sleep, this is probably an indication that you have osteoarthritis.
